Today the integration of Ukrainian education system into the European education realm calls for transformational training of scientists at the third educational-and-scientific level of a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) majoring in the specialty 035 Philology. The third (educational-and-scientific) higher education level corresponds to the eighth qualification level; it requires a PhD student to acquire theoretical knowledge, skills and other competences sufficient for production of new ideas, solution of complex problems in the field of professional and/or research and innovative activities, mastering scientific and pedagogical methodology, as well as conducting their own research. The results of the research have to bear scientific novelty, theoretical and practical importance.
The programme of the complex admission examination for the third (educational-and-scientific) level of higher education (PhD) in the specialty 035 Philology was developed in accordance with the educational-and-scientific programme of the third (educational-and-scientific) level of higher education (PhD) in the specialty 035 Philology. The admission of scientists for the third (educational-and-scientific) level of higher education (PhD) in the specialty 035 Philology, whose subject area does not correspond to the specialty they are applying for, is conducted on the basis of the obtained second (Master’s) level of higher education. The aim of the admission is to choose the best applicants who have a desire to pursue their studies at the Faculty of Linguistics of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
