Education:

In 2003 graduated from Berdyansk State Pedagogical University, Faculty of Philology. In 2007 completed her postgraduate education on speciality “The Theory and History of Higher education”. In 2008 defended thesis “Multicultural Education of students at Universities of the USA” in Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University, Department of Pedagogics, and gained PhD in Pedagogical sciences. In 2012 gained the title of Associate Professor of the Department.

Teaching experience:

From 2005 – Lecturing Master’s courses – Pedagogics and Psychology of Higher Education, Theory of Intercultural Communication, and Academic Writing.

• Teaching Bachelor’s and Master’s courses – General English (Intermediate-Proficiency level), Practical course of communication, and Practical course of scientific-technical translation, Information technologies in translation.
• Scientific supervision of Master’s and Bachelor’s students research work with publication of the results.
• Member of Organizing committee of annual scientific practical conference on Pedagogics and Methodics of the English language teaching “Realization of research potential of a university student: challenges, perspectives” (https://ktppam.kpi.ua/node/1653). Member of Ukrainian Education Research Association (UERA). Coordinator of international collaboration with partner universities, such as telecollaborative international project with Polytechnic University of Valencia (Spain).

Winner of the International Grants – Ukrainian Education Research Association (Training from UERA, Lviv, Ukraine), Nominee of Erasmus+ Staff Mobility Grants for training (Leuven, Belgium; Luxembourg) in 2017, 2018.    

Training:

• 2020 – Certificate of participation and innovative teaching within “Telecollaborative international Project”.

• 2020 – SDL Trados Studio Certificate within the Project for translators and teaching translation «CAT for Grad».

• 2018 – Postgraduate Institute, program “International projects: writing, application and performance”.

• 2017, 2018 – Staff Mobility Training Certificate (Erasmus +) at KU Leuven (Belgium) and at the University of Luxembourg

• 2009 – Ukrainian Institute of Information technologies “Translation  of  scientific-technical  materials, Preparing Translation for printing, creating presentations”.

Research interests.

Multicultural Education of students, Cross-cultural Studies, Comparative pedagogics of higher education, IT in translation.

The author of 48 papers (2 Scopus), 2 monographs, 1 book and methodological guidelines.
