Education:

2001-2006 -National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” (now – National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute named after Igor Sikorsky”) in the specialty “Translation” and is qualified as a translator, teacher of English and German languages.

2017-2021 – postgraduate study at the Institute of Problems on Education of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine

Doctor of Philosophy since 2021. The dissertation “Education of citizenship of students of higher education institutions of the USA” was defended on April 19, 2021 in the specialized academic council Df 26.454.002 of the Institute of Problems on Education of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine (order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine № 280 from 03.03.2021).

Sharanova Yuliia has the experience of scientific and scientific-pedagogical work in higher educational institutions for more than 15 years.

She has been working at the department since 2007.

Scientific work:

Research interests of Sharanova Yu.is  related to the methods of teaching English in higher education institutions, translation of English terminology of professional languages, cross-cultural communication, professional education and pedagogy of higher education.

Sharanova Yu. is the author of more than 20 scientific papers published both in Ukraine and abroad, including two monographs, a textbook. She took part at more than 10 scientific conferences.
